Accommodation is not included in the conference registration fee and all guests are required to make their own accommodation arrangements.

For your convenience, we have secured an excellent rate at a local hotel within walking distance from the venue. Make sure you book your room before November 15th to ensure receiving the special rates that we offer for this conference.

About the hotel

The Classic Hotel

The Classic Hotel is located within the walls of Old Nicosia. It's just a few minutes walk from both the new city centre and the heart of the old—Ledras Street. The Classic Hotel is a 20-minute walk from the conference venue (see walking map below).

Cancellation Policy: One night’s stay is charged to your credit card if your room is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the check-in date. In case of a no-show, full charges will apply.
 

Payment: For individual bookings, a credit card guarantee will be required upon booking confirmation. Reservations are subject to availability at the time of final written confirmation.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The conference will be held at the Famagusta Gate, which is in the Old City of Nicosia and about a 20-minute walk from the Classic Hotel.

TRANSPORT

You can fly into either Larnaka or Pafos International Airports. For transport to and from either of the airports, or for getting around the city, we recommend one of the following options.

Kapnos Bus shuttle

For transport to and from the airport, Kapnos Airbus Shuttle runs regularly from both airports to Nicosia. The journey from Larnaka Airport to Nicosia takes around 40 minutes and costs €8 (one-way). From Pafos Airport to Nicosia, the trip takes about 90 minutes and costs €15 (one-way).

If your hotel is located in the city centre of Nicosia (e.g. Classic Hotel, Centrum Hotel, Royiatiko Hotel):

• Walk from Kapnos station at Kyrenias Avenue to Limassol Avenue Bus Stop 3 (bus stop ID: 435) (5 min, cross Limassol Avenue through footbridge).

• Take bus 306 (6 min) OR bus 302 (9 min) OR bus 312 (12 min) from Limassol Avenue bus stop to Dionysios Solomos Square (Bus stop ID: 1). Solomos Square is the central bus station of OSEL and these hotels are within walking distance (5-10 min) from the station.

Alternatively, you can get a taxi from Kapnos station to drop you off to your hotel. The taxi ride to hotels in the city centre may cost €8-10.

Private Taxi Transfers

You can also get an airport taxi on arrival at the airport. The trip from Larnaka airport to Nicosia will cost you between €40 and €50, depending on your exact destination, and the time of day.
