To celebrate our tenth anniversary, photographies journal is holding a two-day conference. Bringing together a range of international speakers, it promises to be a defining event engaging and interrogating the contemporary condition and currency of the photographic image.
Talks will address five key themes and explore a wealth of different issues and subjects within each of them: Critical Issues; Theory and Resistances; Territory, Community and the State; Borders and Boundaries; Education.

The editors of photographies journal, David Bate and Liz Wells, will be in discussion on the journal and its critical contribution to photography, with special guests, including Louise Wolthers (Hasselblad Foundation) and Anthony Haughey, University of Ulster.
